First Step, Second Time

I owe you an update. I hope there is still a you.

Bubs is turning one at the end of next week. I know! She is amazing – silly, sweet, and is always in a good mood. Motherhood is both different than and exactly what I expected. Totally awesome, totally exhausting, totally worth it.

So much has happened in the last… has it really been more than nine months since my last post? Stayathomemomitude is so much more hectic than I could ever have imagined. Yes, I quit my job. Bubs and I couldn’t handle it. I also became certified as a birth doula and have been working professionally as a doula.

Oh, yes, and I am in the midst of drafting an email to the RE. For real.

Thanks, Melissa! I’m going to try to be more diligent about posting… I definitely know I’ll be feeling more in the writing mood as we kick this whole #2 thing into gear. I’m so excited to follow your progress, and keep cheering you on even if I’m a slacker at commenting.
